Day-before check-in

The following airlines offer their passengers the option of day-before check-in at City Airport Bremen:

Air Berlin, Sky Airlines, SunExpress, Lufthansa, TUIfly, Germania, and Condor.

Day-before check-in means that you check in your baggage the evening before your flight departure and receive your boarding card showing your seat reservation. All you need to do is show your ticket. Only the ticket owner is able to check in, as a basic principle, so please identify yourself with a valid travel document.

Important notice: if your ticket is kept at one of the airport travel agencies, please note their opening hours.

Passengers flying with Sky-Airlines, Germania, Hamburg Airways (for departures on the next day until 12 p.m.), Sun Express, and Condor can check-in between 6 and 9 p.m. on the day before departure. Passengers flying with Air Berlin can check-in between 6 and 8 p.m.

TUIfly passengers may check in between 6 and 8 p.m. on the day before departure. Note: TUIfly fees for its day-before check-in € 5 for each passenger over 12 years.

For Lufthansa flights departing at or before 11 a.m., passengers may check in between     6 and 9 p.m. on the day before departure. Day-before check-in is not available for flights with American airlines (a special case is United Airlines, who do offer day-before check-in).

From 30th June 2011 a fee is charged for late-night check-in for flights of airberlin group. The late-night check-in is exempt from charges for children under the age of 12, guests of airberlin Business Class and also for owners of the topbonus Gild/Silver/Service/Counter Card (plus accompanying person).

Germania fees for ist day-before check-in € 5 for each passenger over 12 years to be paid in cash at the check-in. Please note that all passengers must pass the gate at least at the time indicated on the boarding card, otherwise they will lose their entitlement to transport. For all passengers under 12 years there is no fee for the day-before check-in.
