City Airport Bremen releases its new winter 2011/2012 timetable, valid from 30 October 2011, offering passengers an attractive range of scheduled, tourist and low-fare flights.

The figures for passenger volume at City Airport Bremen climbed to a new record in 2010, despite days of closed airspace due to the ash cloud, strikes in several European countries and the heavy onset of winter. Around 2.7 million passengers produced a new record in the roughly 100 years of the airport’s history – 230,000 passengers more than in the year before.

In a new partnership with City Airport Bremen, the Incoming Bremen agency is now offering an exclusive VIP Full Service to air travellers. Incoming Bremen offers time-savings, greater flexibility and more comfort to all passengers landing in, or taking off from Bremen. Anyone who books the VIP Service can lean back and relax in an exclusive atmosphere and enjoy the time they have, while a personal VIP team takes care of all travel arrangements, whatever the airline or class of airfare. The boarding card is ready on arrival in the VIP lounge, luggage is brought directly from or to the aircraft, and immigration or departure formalities are managed. The VIP service can also include direct transfer from or to the aircraft in exclusive limousines.

London, for example, can be reached from Bremen within an hour.Yet there are also people who experience flying as a personal “horror trip”, suffering symptoms such as tachycardia, hyperventilation, and a feeling of not being in control, i.e of being completely and utterly dependent on the pilot. This describes what is commonly known as “fear of flying”, or what psychologists term “aerophobia” or “aviophobia”. To help sufferers, a fear of flying course will be held at Airport Bremen on 6 and 7 March 2010.
